It’s the anniversary of the first Saturn V launch in 1968.

Not only many Americans, but many Canadians worked together to engineer this marvel under Werner Von Braun.

As we look ahead to conquering the Moon again, and this time for the long term, its time to recognize that it can be done and done much more simply than our present technologists care to admit.  It should also be recognized that it is not the only way to get to the Moon.  There are many alternative solutions.  Many of them involve a waystation in Earth orbit.  Personally, I think the Aries will be another mistake of the Bush administration.

It is time for free enterprise to unite and get Westerners back to the Moon.
