Icon Go On

2008/05/24 — grant czerepak

Spybot Search & Destroy is the product of Safer-Networking.org and I am a devoted user of their product. However, my aesthetic senses are completely revolted every time I have to look at the above product banner. Nor am I impressed by the lack of communication and consistency the icon and the command button conveys:

Now, I know that one of the developers probably came up with it and he means well and I am sure there is some benefit in brand identity, but guys it is hell to look at.

So, in an expression of thanks I am offering the Spybot S&D creators a new and consistent identity with a new banner:

and a new Icon and Command Button:

And here are the rest of their icons:

I hope I’ve done well by them.
